Broome Bird Observatory Cancellation Policy

Accommodation and Tours

Should the need arise to cancel or reschedule your stay/tour, notice should be given more than 15 days prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation fee being charged.

If cancelled 0 - 14 days before arrival, 100% of the booking cost will be forfeited. If cancelled 15 or more days before arrival, a refund or change of booking date will be provided.

No-shows will be charged the full price.

 Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Courses

For BBO courses please see the following cancellation policy:

Cancellation up to 90 days before departure - $200 deposit forfeited.

Cancellation between 90 and 60 days before departure - 50% of total course price forfeited.

Cancellation less than 60 days before departure or during tour, no refund available.

We encourage all visitors to take out travel insurance for their visit to Broome Bird Observatory,

unexpected events can always occur and travel insurance will be your best safety net.

Please note: There are NO PETS, NO DRONES and NO BIRD CALL PLAYBACK permitted at the Observatory.

Return Policy for online purchases

Refunds can be made in full for purchases that are the wrong size or fit.  Please mail the unwashed and unworn garment back to The Broome Bird Observatory, PO Box 1313, Broome, WA 6725, let us know you have done so, and we will organize a return of funds upon receipt of the goods in new condition.  However, please note that shipping costs cannot be reimbursed. Orders with shipping under $9.20 cannot be tracked.
